Help bring Nottingham Light Night to Life!
Nottingham Light Night is one of the key events in the City’s Cultural calendar, the 2018 event marks its eleventh year and they are looking for events assistants to help deliver another memorable Light Night on Friday the 23rd of February from 6-10pm.
Within this role there are a number of areas of activity that you can get involved in:
- Information points – Placed in specific areas of the City, you will act as an information point for the public: handing out maps and offering advice about where to go.
- Installation Invigilators – Due to there being a large number of art installations specially commissioned for the event we are looking for individuals to support the artist on the night by invigilating/looking after their work. Working alongside the artist this will involve engaging the public in the work and collating feedback.
- Pre event set up staff – There will be various aspects of the event that will need setting up earlier in the day. Please indicate whether you would be willing to work a longer day or if you could work in the late morning/afternoon rather than the evening.
- The majority of activities will run from 6 – 10pm, however there are a couple of areas where support is required earlier in the evening and there will also be a briefing to attend before the events start.
