DKMS Swab Hour
Sutton Bonington based student-led project DKMS support national charity DKMS whose key mission is to register lifesaving blood stem cell donors to help those with blood cancer.
During Student Volunteering Week, DKMS are running a series of ‘Swab Hours’, and challenging themselves to swab 100 people in 200 minutes! They would love some volunteers to go along and help out on the stall. This is also a great opportunity for you to find out about the project, and how you can be more involved in the future.
If you don’t have time to help run the stall, why not go along and get swabbed to register as a blood stem cell donor? It only takes 5 minutes of your time, and you could potentially save a life!
When? Wednesday 22nd February, 1pm – 3:30pm
Where? Sutton Bonington Vet School
Anything else? If you would like to help out on the stall, sign up below. If you would like to sign up as a stem cell donor, just turn up on the day!
